Welcome to the Edinburgh Film Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Edinburgh Film Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Edinburgh Film Festival
Edinburgh International Film Festival screens at the city's finest cinema venues - the Filmhouse, the Cameo Theatre, and Cineworld (formerly UGC) Fountain Park. In Glasgow the Festival is featured at the Glasgow Film Theatre (GFT) and Cineworld (formerly UGC) Renfrew St. Started in 1947, the EIFF is one of the true homes of innovative and exciting cinema. For over half-a-century, the Festival has presented some of cinema's most important and exciting moments and played host to the world's greatest filmmakers.
