It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Edinburgh Film Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Edinburgh Film Festival Edinburgh International Film Festival screens at the city's finest cinema venues - the Filmhouse, the Cameo Theatre, and Cineworld (formerly UGC) Fountain Park. In Glasgow the Festival is featured at the Glasgow Film Theatre (GFT) and Cineworld (formerly UGC) Renfrew St. If you're coming to the Film Festival, the venue section holds all you need to know - addresses, maps, disability access, food and drink and other facilities at our key venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Started in 1947, the EIFF is one of the true homes of innovative and exciting cinema. For over half-a-century, the Festival has presented some of cinema's most important and exciting moments and played host to the world's greatest filmmakers.
